Do you know a community group that could benefit from Simplot's support?

Simplot has major sites and manufacturing facilities in Australia located in Mentone, Flemington and Echuca (VIC), Kelso and Bathurst (NSW), and Devonport, Ulverstone and Wesley Vale (TAS). Each of these locations is committed to providing support to local organisations in these communities.

Community organisations seeking support must be located within close proximity of a Simplot site to be eligible for a Simplot Community Sponsorship. As a leading food manufacturing and agricultural company, we believe we have an economic and social responsibility to make a positive contribution and long-term difference to individuals and communities within which we operate. In 2021-2022 Simplot Australia is supporting the following community organisations:

How to apply for a Community Sponsorship

The not-for-profit organisations that we support must align to our purpose, mission and values.  To have the greatest possible impact, we focus on the following areas where we believe we can add the most value to local communities.

Food Security: Initiatives that help to provide reliable access to safe and nutritious food for people in need.

Health and Wellbeing: Initiatives that promote healthier living, including nutrition, sporting and positive mental health.

Environment: Organisations that focus on programs for environmental sustainability.

Each year (June-July), Simplot places a call-out to the community encouraging not-for-profit organisations to apply for a Simplot Community Sponsorships. Requests for sponsorships will only be considered via completing the online Community Sponsorship Application Form. We will open the application period again in June 2022.

As an organisation, we evaluate all requests and advise requesting organisations if we will be able to support them in the August/September of each calendar year.
