Simplot Australia brand, John West, has joined forces with over a million Australians currently tuning into the kitchen capers of the contestants of My Kitchen Rules, as sponsor and supplier of the TV ratings winner.

The partnership is a good fit, because MKR proudly supports sustainable produce like the sustainable seafood selected by John West.

Last year John West solidified its position as Australia’s most sustainable tuna brand, receiving the highest accolade at the 2016 Banksia Sustainability Awards for its commitment to ensuring its best- selling tuna is MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) certified, sustainable and traceable from ocean to can. The MSC certification now gives everyday Australians the chance to be part of the solution for healthy oceans.

This season’s MKR will feature its contestants cooking with salmon from John West’s stable of chilled seafood products. John West’s range has diversified in response to consumer demand for quick and convenient seafood and you’ll no doubt have seen these products in the chilled section of your local supermarket. These chilled, pre-packaged seafood products also give consumers all the health benefits seafood offer, from a brand they can trust.

Be watching in the coming weeks to see the aspiring home cooks plate up our succulent Tasmanian Atlantic Chilled Salmon fillets to impress the judges and their fellow contestants on their quest to take home $250,000 in prize money.

Will they bake, steam or pan-fry? So many choices...

Whatever the recipe, we will be celebrating.
