GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE
At Simplot Australia we take seriously our responsibility to ensure good corporate goverance in everything we do. The Board of Directors has established a Corporate Governance Committee to ensure that the interests of all stakeholders, including shareholders, customers, suppliers, employees, regulators and consumers are being met. The Corporate Governance Committee meets four times a year.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
We emphasise the need for safe working environments, and regularly audit the safety of our work conditions, which must meet Simplot Australia corporate standards and all regulatory requirements.
The company's policy is detailed in the Simplot Australia Occupational Health and Safety Policy. As part of this, the following elements are mandatory on all Simplot Australia sites.

Simplot Australia is committed to continuous improvement in health and safety for all of its employees and contractors and annually sets objectives and targets for performance.
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
Simplot Australia has invested in training and development at the local level around Australia and other parts of the world. We are involved in apprenticeship programs to develop the skills of young people working in our factories. Our training programs are extensive and provide employees and management with the necessary skills to develop and lead us into the future.
